The Alaska Star did a great article about the Isaac's school - Mirror Lake Middle School - winning the Track & Field Championships last week. He and his 1600 meter relay team all ran personal bests and took first, despite expectations that they would finish in the middle of the pack. Nope, not today, they were in it to win! The weather cooperated beautifully that day with just enough of a light breeze to cool off the kids who were putting their all onto that track. It was great to see everyone giving their best like they did!
