I just read Amy Armstrong's article from the Alaska Star ("Local singer's demo CD a hit with troops" Jan. 5). I am proud to say that I am Alisha Temple's grandfather. My wife and I took Alisha and her sister Sarah on a tour of the southwest 48 in the late fall of 2004. Alisha's singing got a lot of attention whereever we took her. I appreciate your article very much.
